VisionMatrixCC
Unique visitor counter
Counts every person who enters your site once. Staff and repeat entries are left out, so at the end of the day you see how many real people came, how many are new and how many came back.
- Shopping centres
- Shops and brands
- Branch networks
- count per person, however many times they come in that day
- 1
- dependence on the internet or cloud
- 0
Ordinary door counter 0
VisionMatrixCC 0
An ordinary door counter counts entries, not people.
Management's questions, answered in numbers every day.
- 01
How many people really came today?
Unique visitors: each person once, staff excluded.
- 02
How many new customers did we win today?
New customers: people visiting for the first time.
- 03
How many customers come back?
Returning customers: people who came before and came again today.
- 04
Did the ad or the discount bring new customers?
Campaign days side by side with ordinary days.
Three steps, all automatic
- 1
Sees
The cameras on site follow every person who comes in.
- 2
Recognises
Is this a member of staff, a first visit, or someone already known? The system decides by the face.
- 3
Counts
Only new visitors are counted. Staff and repeat entries are left out.
No need to look at the camera
People walk as usual. It is enough for the face to reach any one of the cameras.
Any camera will do
Looking at a phone at the door? The display camera or the exit camera recognises the person instead.
Nothing for staff to do
The system starts and stops at set hours, and the report is ready on its own.
- New: written to the database, counted
- Recognised: not counted again
- Tracked: still being checked
However often staff go in and out, they stay out of the report
A separate list
Staff are registered separately. A new employee is added to the list on their first day.
Recognised, not counted
Breaks, the stockroom, lunch: however many times they pass the door, the counter stays where it is.
A clean number
The report shows only visitors from outside. Staff movement does not inflate it.
Example: 32 entries or 0?
A cashier passes the door 12 times and a guard 20 times. An ordinary counter records 32 entries. VisionMatrixCC records 0.
Every zone and every shop window, measured separately
Example floor plan. The brighter the zone, the heavier the flow.
Visitors by zone
How many people entered each rented unit.
Stops at shop windows
How many people stopped and how long they looked on average.
Busiest corridors
Where most of the flow passes through.
Gathering points
Where people gather most.
Flow by hour
Peak hours and quiet times in every zone.
What each side gains
Shopping centre owner
- Base rent on real footfall
- See which zone is worth more
- Give tenants a report in numbers
Shop and brand
- Know how many people your window stopped
- Tell new customers from returning ones
- Measure the real result of a campaign
Management
- Plan staff and tills around peak hours
- Compare branches by the same measure
- Get a ready report every day
A ready report at the end of the day
The day's report
- Unique visitors
- Different people who came today, each once, staff excluded
- New customers
- People who came for the first time today
- Returning customers
- People who came on earlier days and came again today
- Daily log
- The time of every visit and whether it was new or returning
Kept in the system
- Customer database
- Everyone who has come so far, each under their own number, for example C000127
- Visit history
- First visit, last visit and the days they came
- Past days
- Reports for every day can be downloaded from a web page
Several entrances, one database. All cameras share it, so a person seen at one entrance is not counted again at another.
Next stage: the collected database gives more than a count
- Purchase rate: linked with the till, what share of visitors bought something
- Till queues: an instant alert to management when a queue grows
- Lost customers: people who used to come often and have stopped
- Campaign effect: growth in new customers on discount days
- Several branches in one panel, with customers recognised everywhere
- Weekly and monthly reports, with charts that show growth or decline
- Anonymous statistics by age and gender
- The day's numbers on your phone, even away from the site
Simple to install. Data never leaves the site.
Several cameras, one database
Cameras go at the entrance, in front of shop windows and at the exit, on the ceiling or the wall. All share one database.
No personal data recorded
No name, phone number or other personal details are stored. In the system every person is just a number.
Everything stays on site
Data is kept on the site's own computer. Nothing is sent to the internet or the cloud.
Check it on your own site
Visit
We look at the site and choose the camera spots together.
Installation
The system is set up and staff are added to the list.
Trial period
You see the first reports and decide based on the result.
